I quite often speak at events about P3 Assurance, but those events are rarely uniquely about P3 Assurance. With the ever growing interest in P3 Assurance, I think there may be a place for a conference specifically on that topic. Perhaps it should be annual one. I'd be interesting in running one, but I would need to charge an attendance fee unless it is online-only and speakers provided their talks for free. Even then, there would presumably some cost involved, if only for my time! A colleague of mine is writing a guide for the Association for Project Management (APM) on the topic of equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) in projects. She is looking for examples of how projects are managing EDI, not only in terms of the teams delivering a project but also in terms of project outcomes, i.e. what the outcomes/benefits of the project will be in terms of EDI. The question I would like to raise here is how can Assurance check whether projects are doing everything they can to ensure that EDI is properly considered at all stages of projects, and deliver the best outcome possible. Do you have any experience in this area? If so, please share it here.
